Who We Are
Lawrence Sunshine Foundation is a non-profit based in Lawrence, KS and serving families who foster children in the Douglas County area. We provide clothing, toiletries, and other items as needed when a child is placed in a home. Many children entering foster care are taken without any items of their own. We hope to alleviate the stress on the foster family by providing these basic needs so that their time can be spent bonding with the new child.

If you are a local business or group and would like to sponsor a donation drive, please contact us at lawrencesunshinefoundation@gmail.com.
If you are a foster family, CASA worker, case manager, or other interested party who would like to request a bag for a child entering foster care, please contact us on the form below. Please include the gender identity, age, shoe/sock size, and any other information that would help us provide a bag of clothing and essentials to the child. Also include an address or contact information for where the bag can be delivered or if pick up is preferred. Please spread the word to anyone involved in foster care in Douglas County and surrounding areas. Thanks!
